PROJECT VISION – Create a culture of Peace to counter the violence that prevails

PROJECT MISSION - To inspire and motivate children and youth to come out of the cycle of hate -> violence -> loss and move into the cycle of love-> peace -> joy. Joy is actually the birth right of every person born in this world. Create alternative opportunities for those people making a living out of violence. A life style of violence makes a person forfeit his right to happiness and joy on life

OBJECTIVES - To emancipate people caught in the grip of violent and criminal livelihood and give them skills to lead a life sans violence and thereby move towards joy.

JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PROJECT
The cycle of progress (love>peace>progress) and the cycle of regress (hate>conflict>regress) are explained to make the audience realize the need to take course correction and for reconciliation. The cultural production is for duration of about 40 minutes and will be an audio-visual package combining music, theatre, puppetry and visuals coupled with narration. Non violence and Love…fragrant offerings to the world from India, will be the winning theme! This cultural peace promotion, media package will be offered as an introductory intervention package for strife infected nations.

Basic Awareness: Promoting the basic understanding that Selfless love and constructive work is positive (+) energy and hate and destruction is negative (-) energy.

Positive energy gets released by an individual when they do acts of selfless love, such as good deeds to the community and neighborhood. This emitting of genuine positive energy by the individual, in return has the effect of boosting the body immune system and bringing wellbeing to the individual.

Negative energy gets released by an individual when they indulge in hatred and anger in the mind resulting in violent actions such as arson, destruction and even murder. The negative energy that is released by the individual is directed from within the core of the person by a negative explosion of energy; the mechanism is like a gun being fired. This negative explosion within the individual debilitates the immune system of the individual, causing the individual to be open to attack by diseases like diabetes, bad cholesterol build up, blood pressure increase, and hypertension and so on. The unification power of Selfless Love Consciousness (SLC): This manifests both at the individual level and at the social level.

SLC at the individual level, Selfless love awareness and practice integrates the three fundamental realms interfacing within an individual, namely the spirit, intellect, and physical realm. Since love in a (+) energy it build the individual towards fullness in life.

SLC at the social level, Selfless love awareness and practice, bonds the community spiritually, intellectually (thinking) and physically (activity). The prime activity is building- up the community thereby (+) energy is emitted and this results in further cohesiveness of the community thereby resulting in peace and prosperity.

Thus, the importance of Selfless Love Consciousness Unification can clearly be seen, benefiting both the individual as well as the society. This awareness needs to spread among the community through the children the youth and also the corporate sector….into families and communities using the medium of music, song dance and theatre….then peace will reign and prosperity will follow.
